How to Unstake

Schedule Reuest

After clicking on Unstake, there will be a popup with the following message.

Click OK to confirm your unstke request, and then your unstake request will be scheduled.

Execute Request

After the request is scheduled, the button will change to a countdown and show the remaining time of network officially process the user's request. Each protocal has a different waiting period, please check docs of each protocal to learn more details.

When time's up, click excute button to confirm your unstake request. Please note that your unstake request will not be executed till you excute.

Cancel Request

If the user wants to cancel the unstake operation, he/she will have the opportunity to cancel the unstake until the final confirmation operation is completed.

If user does not cancel, user can wait for the network to complete the processing (the processing time varies depending on the protocol, e.g. Litentry network needs 7 days to complete the unstake operation), then click Excute and the user will complete the unstake operation, the cancellation of the staking will complete and the tokens will be quickly returned to the user's wallet account.

Also, if user wants to Delegate to the same Collator again, user can stake more tokens directly to it by clicking Delegate on the My Stake page.
